The search is on for the hottest new up and coming urban comics to grace a stage.  We all know there is a first time for everyone; such as the great Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx and the late Robin Harris, and the new greats, The Wayans Bros., Jamie Fox, Dave Chappell, Monique, Chris Rock , Sommore, and DL Hughley, to name a few.
Little known fact # 1….   After performing in hallmark black clubs such   as the Apollo in Harlem and the Regal in Chicago, Flip Wilson   made a successful appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Recommended by Redd Foxx, he also performed on The Tonight   Show to great accolades and become a substitute host. Flip was   also a regular act at New York City’s Apollo Theater

We are looking for the next Comic great of our time.  It’s time for some new blood!! We are on the prowl and getting great laughs from it!  Our showcases will be held across the country at the latest and greatest venues for urban comics.  The audience will judge and critique performances, and a different Celebrity will host each show.  Winners will receive up to $5,000.00 in cash and prizes! The winner from each show will receive $500.  The Grand Prize winner of the final show will win $2,000, for total cash winnings of $2,500 plus industry recognition and a chance to perform in front of a national television audience.
